If they wanted to put "Indiana Jones" on the video cover (something I understand), there was a MUCH less controversial way to go about it than to change the movie's title (I REALLY hope they didn't change it in the actual movie). Here's what I think they should have had on the cover if they wanted to include Indy's name: "Indiana Jones In Raiders Of The Lost Ark". That way the title would still be the same.
