: : : I have a pair I'm willing to part with. Yours for $50.

: : : Something in the neighborhood of a 33"-34", but I'm not sure exactly. That's the size jeans I wear and they fit me reasonably well. They've got a hole in one of the front pockets you could probably sew up with minimal effort.
: : : The color's a close match to the original, but they aren't pleated.

: : Thanks for the offer, but they aren't my size. Could you tell me, are they comfortable? I know they are wool, but are they heavy or light? Also does the wool scratch, or is it pretty smooth?
: : Sorry all the questions,

: The wool is relatively smooth...it's a very tight weave. Which doesn't mean they don't itch just a tad, but they're quite bearable. The fabric is heavy - heavier by a good bit than that of the Noel Howard reproduction. You probably wouldn't want to ride an elephant through India on a hot summer's afternoon in them. Which isn't to say you'd be comfortable doing so in the reproduction trousers either, but you'd be a little better off.

Thanks, I've been curious about these for a while.
