I have an original Raiders Jacket bought from Wested years ago and it does in fact have a satin acetate lining in it (not actual silk-but looks like silk-it does have a matte, non-shiny texture to it so wouldn't "shine like silk". True enough as others have pointed out, check out the flying wing fight scene, and the satin lining can be seen. Silk can be made non-shiny, by the way-just look at some silk ties on the market today-very matte textures to them. Both linings are fine-silky or cotton-my silk one does slide on nicely but cotton was the preferred lining in all of the best air corps jackets early in WWII and beyond. I'm going to try to purchase the Last Crusade model with cotton lining next fall when the funds are present. Like both designs.
