Truck? What truck? Info anyone?????

Does anyone know about the Mercedes Benz L6500?? I know the movie one was a converted standard US military truck but wondered if the design is authentic or fictionalised?

I would love to have a 35th scale of the truck with indy jumping from the horse! That would be a really cool display piece.

I would welcome any info anyone has.
