Hi,
I came accross the answer to that when I was thinkin about ordering mine. It's in the archives somehwhere but to paraphrase, YES. There was someone who asked for that and Peter happily used a silver zipper on his jacket. I imagine if you were to call and request that specifically it wouldn't be a problem.
