They did do quite a bit of doctoring to colors, lighting, etc. Remember they lightened the appearance of the hat thfoughout the three films. I would imagine the appearance of a shiny surface in a room that is supposed to be dark would be a prime candidate for a few well placed special effects. Or who knows - Wested may have supplied satin linings and Harrison Ford could have gotten fed up with them being so damn hot and told some poor wardorbe grunt to rip the linings out and replace them with cotton. Who knows. I guess I would say, though, to be careful relying on the textures and colors you see on film.
