Hi,
No problem. I'll be glad to help you out.
Lets say you want to post a picture named indyfan.gif
the URL of the picture you want to post must be something like
http://www.indyfan.com/indyfan.gif
and not something like C:\MyDocuments\indyfan.gif
with other words if you want to post on the web a picture that is on your hard drive you have to upload it first somewhere on the web
Now, if you ask "what is upload?"
the answer is
upload is transfering a picture to the web
it is like when you have a picture on your hard drive on C:\Pictures\indy.gif and you put it on
C:\MyDocuments\indy.gif
same thing with HTML documents, when you go to http://www.indyfan.com/index.html you see a web page
how that web page got there?, the administrator of the site uploaded there
the opposite is "download" which is tranferring from the web to your computer
I hope I answered your question.
Nick
: I typed the location of the image as c:\Mydocuments\hats.jpg and no image was sent. What am I doing wrong? Thanks a million, Steve
