I also spent 6 months in the desert's of Saudi & Iraq. Dec-May 90-91. It got cold at night, but not leather jacket cold I thought. As for trading, the British were always eager to trade with us, they wanted anything that said Harley Davidson on it, which I had none of. As for the French, I met a couple Legionerres, thats it.
