I received the shirt and the other stuff today, so here´s the
report I promised. I purchased a shirt, whip holder and a brown
webbing belt. First off let me say that the shirt really lived up to
all my expectations. It is an exact copy of Indy´s, not the Raiders
version though as the buttons are brown, In Raiders they appear to be
light grey at least according to the picture I´m looking at. I guess
it´s a ToD or a Crusade shirt. Anyway it looks absolutely gorgeous,
the colour is a mix of white, khaki and very very subtle tinge of
green. I don´t know exactly how to describe the colour but it looks
like the one in the movies, no doubt about that. I can understand why
it took Mr. Howard some time to find the right fabric because it feels
like a mix between silk and cotton, very soft and thin, but highly
durable. The sleeves roll up very easily and stays put to give that
Raiders “market place scene” look. Unfortunately I cannot show you a
picture but I think Indygear.com has one. It cost me £55 and it was
definitely worth it, it is already one of my favourite items and it is
one of those Indy items you can wear every day. The whip holder
unfortunately disappointed me, £15 is too much for a piece of leather
and a silver snap, go have your local shoe repair shop make you one.
It´ll probably be cheaper. It looks great though, and the belt comes
trough a loop just like in the movies. I´m not sure about how well it
can hold a bull whip because I don´t own one. The belt is nice, the
buckle´s really distressed and it´s hard to see it´s been gold once,
but Indy´s almost silver too. There isn´t much to say but it is a nice
Indy item and at £6.50 it is a must-own. Please ask me if there is
anything you want
