I've got a Disney jacket from '94 that (aside from the reversed back straps) is a great replica. I've worn it completely soaked through and let it dry naturally without any conditioner at all and... it still feels great! I know one of the newer Disney jackets have a suede type leather. I wouldn't wear that in the rain... then again I wouldn't recommend buying one either.
