: : : I have to agree here. I think the Poster is very cool, but Vicki Green just doesnt have the look to be Sophia Hapgood.
: : : I think that the perfect person to be Sophia Hapgood is Catherine Mary Stewart. She looks exactly like the in the National Archeology book in the .
: : : I like the poster though.
: : : IJ fan, Jack Shannon
: : Thanks, Shannon!!! Much appreciated. I understand that we all
: : have different ideas about how Indy's non-movie counterparts look.
: : It just so happens that my ideal of Sophia Hapgood is Vicki Lewis,
: : my fave from one of the funniest and most original TV shows
: : of all time. (And if you've seen her in Godzilla, then you know that
: : she can do adventure movies as well as comedy. (And she just looks
: : sooo good in those khaki shorts!!!) :) Anyway, thank you for all
: : the positive comments. I take a bow (but hats off to my brother

: I'm sure that Vicki Lewis is a very funny lady (I must admit that I've never really watched much of NewsRadio... and would be depressed to now, knowing what happened to Phil Hartman), but I don't think that she's the right lady to play Sophia Hapgood (please don't shoot those poisoned darts at me... AHHHHH! :D )!
: If anything, she'd be way too young to play opposite the Harrison Ford of today. Remember, although I'm sure that Sophia Hapgood is a few years younger than Indiana Jones in the Fate of Atlantis, she was still a colleague of his from way back in the Jastro Expedition, and couldn't have been more than 5-10 years younger than him. Vicki Lewis is way younger than that when you compare her to Ford.

Actually, I never considered their age difference. I just think
they look good together. Also, I didn't "discover" Newsradio until
after Phil Hartman died. But it doesn't affect me because he is such
a fantastic and funny actor. What he left behind is his legacy. His
Bill McNeal was and still is a central character. (MUCH better and
funnier than Jon Lovitz.) It's still a fantastic show, despite the
unfortunate of the show's best actor. (Also ironic in that a
lot of the episodes were about "people out to Bill, or the psychic
predicting the exact date of Bill's ". It's creepy/ironic, but it
doesn't bother me in the least when I watch it. Every minute of
Newsradio is pure joy to watch. But I digress, this is the INDYFAN
forum, so I'll let everyone get back to discussing the man with the hat.
Yours truly,
Dale Dassel :)
