Yes, I was about that obsessed with "Designing Women" when it was on. I got my first speeding ticket racing home one night to see it. I had the first several seasons worth on tape although I didn't always edit out all the commercials.
I hate to burst your bubble on this but if you're taping "News Radio" after it's gone into sindication then you're probably not getting the whole show. The stations cut out a minute or two of footage from each episode to put in more commercials. This is common practice for most stations.
