You can absolutely purchase these great Alden's boots without a presription. They are just listed through that side of the Alden company because they make such a great basic system to build an orthopedic support on. The official system in their shoe is called the "Tru-balance system". Anyone can order these from the Alden Company in San Francisco, among other locations. Regards. Michaelson
