Y2K kills our little comunity?

I was wondering what will happen to us. I wanted to get a wested but Mr. Botwright may not be able to make me one because the international economy may fall. y2k may release a plague of fleas or somthing. I wanted to get a HJ too.(I want to wait after 2003 because Im growing and I dont want to outgrow them.) my hat size is 6 7\8
