Noel Howard's strap is not all that bad. He is the only seller who has approached Indy collectors with authentic costume reproductions, and the only one who makes a complete bag strap which looks decent and costs about the price of a belt. One can probably find someone to make a strap 65" long 1" wide, finished on one side, but I have not seen a buckle anywhere which matches the films (especially Raiders.) Until such a seller with the perfect strap emerges, Noel's items are the best out there. Noel has also consistently addressed collectors' concerns, and has not only produced 2 colors of the original pattern pants, but offers smooth straps now (which initially had lines along their length.) Since they are a costume shop, they may even improve the buckle if given the chance in the future.
