STONES ON THE SPINDLE...Fate of Atlantis

Thanks to Dale for the help in placing the stones. Now I am at the part on Crete or "the greater Atlantis", where in the map room I am supposed to use all three stones on the spindle.....I can't get that to work? No way. Anyone else have this problem? Or can help with a nudge?
