About that Belloq eating a fly scene....

Ok, I'm sure everyone knows about that scene where Belloq eats a fly.
"You give mercenaries a bad name." hehe. But how long did it take for
you to notice that he DID indeed eat a fly. It took me like 100
viewings to notice it, in fact, I only learned about this when I
started searching for Indiana Jones sites back in September 1998 and I
came upon this site (among others, of course). So, I'm asking how
many people noticed it immediately and how many noticed it after a few
viewings?

P.S. When I went to a Raiders midnight screening, everyone went "Ewww"
at that fly scene. I was surprised many people noticed
