Does anyone remember the artist 'Amsel'?
Creator of fine art posters such as 'Raiders of the Lost Arc' and 'Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome'?
His work is what inspired me to take up illustration in college, but unlike 'Boris' or 'Chris Achillios', I cannot find any reference books or Web pages dedicated to his work.
Did he die in the late 80's before achieving super stardom at a time when his work was reaching its pinnacle?
I have no idea. But I would love to know.
Can anyone shed some light on this mystery for me.
Ps. I say 'He' but it could equally be a 'She'!
