If you were adventuring in that jacket, wouldn't you get too hot?

Ok, Indy is in the desert most of the time and wears his jacket, and being that he's always active, wouldn't he be hot or what?? I know I would collapse if I was active and fighting a big bald meaty buttheaded nazi mechanic in the desert with my jacket on! Unless tombs have air conditioners, he seams pretty ok and comfy when fighting. Oh, I betcha ya can't guess who I am.
