Infernal Machine Help

I'm having some trouble with the second mine on level 4. Has anyone gotten passed this point yet? If so, how do I get the tracks to switch so that I can escape the Temple? Also, the Japanese Transit doesn't work! Is there another way to locate the hidden gorge?

No really, I need some help from all the PC gamers out there regarding system requirements for Indy 3D. Specifically, which 3D accelerator I should get, and I'm assuming I'll need a joystick for this game, as well.
