I have this wood-handled Mexican whip I bought for $20. It's an 8 footer. It cracks easy, and is surprisingly(sp) well built for $20. Anyway, I wrapped it around a tree branch in my back yard. I didn't really swing from it. I just kind of hung from it, with my feet off the ground of course. Like climbing a rope. I tugged on it a little. It didn't hurt the whip at all. Though I don't think I'll be trying that with my Mark Allen whip anytime soon.

What I really need to do is dig a 100 foot deep chasm in my yard, then try it! Hehe
