Is it true about the absence of Old Indy?

Have the Old Indy bookends been cut out from The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles tapes in stores? If so, am I the only one saddened by this? :_(

I liked having Old Indy in the series, even if he appeared only in the very beginning and the very end of each episode.
