Is Infernal Machine worth it?

Hello fellow Indy pundits,
I am one of the few unannointed who still doesn't have IM yet. Therefore, I have not been reading the posts about it (don't want to spoil the surprise, and all). So what's the verdict? Should I quit my job and buy this game? Or should I wait until it comes out at the WalMart for nine bucks? I really would appreciate some advice from youse guys. I have a feeling I already know the answer for this question...
