You need to find the plant bulb to put there. Keep searching the monastery. Did you push around the statue in the room with the "Genie Lamp" Thing? It opens a door that leads to where you need to go, if I remember right.

: I'm in the monastery and standing in front of a yellow thing that looks like a genie lamp. It is held up by chains and it came down after rotating a statue earlier in the stage. What do I put in it or do with it? I've tried everything else in the stage, so I figured that I need to do something with it.
