True. I hadn't thought of that. Actually, I think he drank quite a lot in the YIJC. I think he drank in the Pancho Villa episode, The Scandal of 1920, the Mata Hari episode, the Treasure of the Peacock's eye, and plenty more I'm sure. Yes, Lucas did manage to squeeze the drinking in as a character trait in Indy's early years. I can't remember if any of the MacGregor books addressed the Prohibition, but I'm sure Indy frequented a lot of speakeasys. (I've never seen The Mystery of the Blues.)
