: I'm looking for a gift to buy my 9-year-old brother for Christmas, and I refuse to purchase anything Pokemon. Which of the Young Indy Chronicles do you all think would be most appropriate for him?

I made a list, maybe it can help you.
#6 Spring Break Adventure: nice one but not to good to start with because the real first part (#1) is not yet available and it makes less sense without it.
#8 Trenches of Hell: WWI episodes, maybe to hard for a nine 9 old to start with.
#10 The Phantom Train of Doom: fun & action, good choice!
#11 Oganga, The Giver and Taker of Life: very seriouse, good for a kid but maybe not fun/action enough to star with.
#12 Attack of the Hawkmen: airplane episode, good one to start with if he likes old planes.
#13 Adventures in the Secret Service: spy episode, good one to start with!
#15 Daredevils of the Desert: Action/spy episode, good one to start with.
#16 Tales Of Innocence: maybe too much romance for a boy to start with.
#17 Masks of Evil: too dark for a kid.
#18 Treasure of the Peacock's Eye: I have never seen this one but it should be a very movie like adventure, good choice
#20 Mystery of the Blues: Music episode. Maybe not thebest choice to star with.
#22 Hollywood Follies: Fun/Romance episode, maybe not the right one to start with for a boy ;-)
Before anyone starts flaming me: I only tried to look at the episodes from the point of a 9 year old boy!
I have more about the videos online: http://fly.to/IJC
