I need Help on the Infernal Machine LVL 4

Ok I'm in the room with the water and wooden beams coming out from the wall. I've already gotten the key. Now I understand that I have to get the flower to for the old lady. How do I get down to the next level of wooden blocks? The only spot where I even land on one of the beams always kills me. Is there an easier way? Thanks.
