Speaking of Akubra hats, what's the deal with Indy's fetishization of Australian gear? Akubra-style hats, 'roo-skin whips...
I vaguely remember reading a description of Indy, when ROLA came out, as resembling an "Australian cowboy".
And there was that Marvel Comics splash page showing IJ fleeing from some p/o'ed Outback Aussies with a bandana over his face...
Is there an early, secret Down Under tale we haven't heard?
