Australian videos widescreen?

I read a while ago on this board that the Indy movies had been released in Australia on video in a widescreen version. I just found a website where you can order the Australian boxed set of Indy:

The release # for this set is RGP3011 and it was released 2/1/98.

My questions:
1. Is this set the widescreen version?
2. Are Australian videos the same format as American ones, or do they use the British format? In other words, if I order this, will I be able to play it in my VCR?
