Having some techincal problems

I'm at the part where I'm gonna beat that huge ice demon with the machine part I found. But when ever he comes down on the ground all of a sudden the game shuts down and goes back to windows. Before it shuts down it shows in the corner of the screen that I collected that seal that you used before to enter into that room to get the plant bulb. What is goin' on here? Please help. Thanx.
