wested raiders jacket

i have had my wested for about 2 months now. and there
seems to be a significant amount of wear to the satin
lining. i havent worn the jacket that much. i guess
this is to be expected with satin. any pointers on
how to preserve it? has anyone else had similar problems.
any better luck with cotton?
