What I mean is, you can have two hats that are the same height, but after being bashed, one can look shorter than the other. Like a "pointy" 5 inch crown versus a "square" 5 inch crown. regards, Steve

That makes sense to me. My Nostalgias have a very flat,rounded top (see pics at indygear). Does your custom fedora have the "pointy" crown? Also, could you e-mail me the pics of the hat, I'd love to see it.
