They probably just want to make it bigger and better for DVD. Like behind-the-scenes, extra footage, bloopers, cool stuff like that. Also, like they said with the Star Wars DVDs, they wanted to release it as a whole (Ep. 1-6), so maybe they really do want to make an Indy 4 and release all 4 at the same time on DVD. Once, I heard that Lucasfilm wanted to wait until DVD technology improved. Like being able to store more data on one disc or something. Anyway, these are just the things that were said about Star Wars, so I'm just applying them to Indy. But they very well might be the same.
