Great pictures...but you are wrong!

I am of the opinion that the same blocked fedora was not used for all 3 movies. Do you remember the scene from TDOD where Indy was trying to fly the plane? Take a closer look at his hat , and if that is the same blocked hat as used in Raiders you must have blinders on. No offense meant. No matter what you do to that hat, you would not end up with the Raiders look. There is a distinct difference in the overall shape of the crown. Pinch it anyway you wish, bash it anyway you want, it doesn't matter. My local hatter, who has worked with hats for many years, pointed this out to me when I first started looking for an Indy fedora. I have nothing against HJ fedoras, I might buy one someday, but to say that the current HJ is THE ORIGINAL is not quite the honest truth. I am almost certain that the hats changed with each movie. I also think that the Raiders version was the tallest of the 3. Regards, Steve
