: This has to be the movie Lucas and spielberg were looking at when they created Indy. Heston plays Harry Steele. He has the fedora, the bomber jacket, the look. Some of his personality traits are simular too. He is in search of this pricless golden Inca sungod. There even is a scene where he uses a golden medallion placed in just the right spot to shine light on the hidden resting spot of the treasure. It was made in 1954 by Paramount. It not as good as Radiers of course. Like a lot of movies of the day, it is kind of dry. It has never been released on video, but you can catch it on TV. Am I the only one who knows about this? Let me know.
I have never heard of this before, but you have now gotten me intrigued! Does anyone have a copy of this film?
