That jives with what they told me about the brim cut. Apparently they did have a hat in my size (7 5/8) as they said it would go
out today. Also, last week I decided to locate some petersham ribbon
as the Miller is too wide. The number to Hatworks in Indygear gave
me a recording in Spanish, so perhaps they are not at that number
any longer. I struck paydirt though with Judith M. Design, listed in
the Indy's Diggs site and today I received 3 yards of dark brown
1 1/2 inch petersham hat ribbon. If it was a shade less shiny it'd
be perfect. Anyone know how to dull the shine out side of kicking it
around in the dirt?

Also, I would ask for the 2 3/4 brim.
