i came across something completely ridiculous in the dallas morning news today and thought i would share it. a columnist, maryln schwartz, writing about the afi's selection of the top 100 movies actually made this statement when her favorite movie, notorious, didn't make the list:

when i found out it didn't make the list, i wanted
to call every critic who made the decisions.
raiders of the lost ark? give me a break.

it reminded me of all those saturday afternoon kids'
serials i used to watch at the roxy theater when i
was a kid. but raiders didn't have the impact on me
that i got from superman.

unbelievable. must've been in coma for the last 17 yrs.
