Minor Questions

Just some quick questions.

1. In "Raiders", we see the Commandant's aide, Gobler. What exactly happens to this guy? Is he the guy who falls over the cliff in the jeep? Or does he just die when the Ark is opened?

2. Also, how do Marian and Indy get off the island? Isn't there still many Germans at the dock? Or do they steal a sub?

3. Why does Indy want the Ark in the museum? Marcus claims that they want to run tests. Well, to do that, you would have to open it, and then you would all die. I can sorta understand just putting it in a display. It's better than the government's idea.
