I ordered an xlarge, which is my usual size, as I have a 44" chest and a 35" waist. It was nearly perfect, but slightly too tight in the chest. I kept it anyway, but recently ordered another one, and Mr. Howard was kind enought to tailor it specifically to my measurement. I had him make it xlarge, but with the chest dimension like his xxlarge. It came out perfectly and fit me just like Indy's fits him. It tapers down to the waist, is not baggy, and fits just right across the chest.

So my suggestion is to be real clear about your overall dimensions beofre ordering and if in doubt, go a little bigger. You can always have it tailored locally to bring it in
