I can tell you how I did mine. I wanted to get rid of the snap brim completely, so it would be easier to dimensionally cut the brim, and also so I could reshape the brim to what I think the raiders hat looks like. I simply got out the steam iron, and after placing a piece of cloth on the brim, just ironed it out flat. After the cutting was finished, I used a steamer to put a little curl in the sides of the brim. The finished product looks really good, the smaller ribbon I put on really sets it off. regards, Steve
