With Pan and Scan you loose the scope and sweep of the movie as the director wanted it to be. In essance, it leaves you with an incomplete picture. We have a 27 inch tv and wide screen is not a sacrifice. To see the whole thing is a real joy. I just wish they'd realease the trilogy in widescreen.
