What happened to Marion?

I found this site only recently and I thougth you guys could answer a question that bothered me for some time: what happened to Marion Ravenwood? At the end of Raiders, Indy and Marion look like they could get married but in The lasty crusade, she nowhere to be found: did Indy dump her, or is she killed?
