I KNOW the scene your talking about - the crossroad scene where you can see right inside the jacket? I thought the same as you - "That HAS to be satin". When I saw it on the big screen (a small local theater was showing it for $2.50 one weekend - free popcorn too)it was clearly cotton. Be careful what info you try to pull off video tape. Lighting is EVERYTHING.
