Well, just like the movie, you've got to find the right place to "dig" for the secret underground chamber. Read Dad's Grail Diary and look at the picture of the window. Now you've got to find that same window. OK, now I'm having trouble remembering what comes next...uh, I think it mentions something more in the Grail Diary...something about Roman numerals. Anyhow, look at the two plaques on either side of the correct window to tell which Roman numeral to "dig" in. Now use the post to smash open the floor (you DID take the red cordon and the post, didn't you?). Above all, remember to save your game right at the moment before you open the floor, in case you chose the wrong one. Sorry, I don't have more detailed instructions...hey, an excuse to play it again!
P.S. Remember to get some useful books from the library before you get out of there!
