: : but then Last Crusade is my favorite because it was the combination of our crew from the first movie, and it attempted to come full circle from the other two movies, and still has an identity of it's own. Of my two daughters, Temple is my eldest girls favorite, LC is my youngest favorite. Hope this helps your survey/poll. Regards. Michaelson
: : Michaelson, maybe this has been addressed somewhere previously in the forum, but your statement here has seriously piqued my interest. What is your connection to the Indiana Jones movies? You say the Last Crusade was the combination of OUR (your) crew from the first movie. Did you work on the films? If so in what capacity? Man, if it turns out you've let slip that you worked on the Indy movies, you'll have to change your email address.
: Sorry to disappoint you, but I am not connected in anyway with Paramont, Lucas, or anyone else involved, though I do know someone who did know them years ago. I refer to Indy as "ours" collectively, the Indyfan peer group, because without us, Indy would not exist. Period. Therefore, the "ours" is us, the "true believers" who keep Indiana Jones alive. Regards. Michaelson
Very well stated. Kind of like "Keeper of the Grail", eh?
But we do keep Indiana Jones alive, rather than let the concept
fade into obscurity. I seriously wonder if anyone officially
associated with Lucasfilm, or even Lucas himself reads our forum.
I'm afraid that if someone did, they would be ridiculed and accused
of being an "imposter". For example, what if Harrison Ford REALLY
came on here and said that he will be making Indiana Jones IV and
gave us some pertinent information regarding the film. Most of us
would probably say something like, "Yeah, right. Like you're really
Harrison Ford!" And those who did believe him would, in turn, be
chastised and ridiculed for believing him, by everyone else who
didn't believe that it was really him. And furthermore, why does
the URL www.indianajones.com lead to a Star Wars official site?
Don't get me wrong, I love Star Wars, too, but that should be a
site dedicated to Indiana Jones. Much the same way that www.starwars.com
is an official Lucasfilm Star Wars site. They need TWO of them? I'm
aware that Star Wars is infinitely more popular than Indiana Jones
but come on...
