: I don't mean that a new actor would screw up the Indy character, although that could easily happen. What I'm really worried is that the studio or some other directer takes the concept out of Lucas-Spielberg's hands. This was the case with the Batman movies. I think his name is Schumacher. Too many colors. The first two consisted of only Black, which was how Michael Keaton portrayed the character. Val Kilmer did an adaquate job with the script and surroundings.
: Of course, if heavily supervised, somebody might be able to direct a few Indy films without wrecking them. George Lucas is good at finding people like that. What we don't want is the studio taking over and making new Indy films to cash in. You could call this the Jaws-Syndrome if you want.
Oh, that would be terrible too. Did you read that Indy IV thing above? I don't know what to think anymore. I checked out the site, and it said Sandra Bullock possibly might be in it. What a way to ruin a movie if they do!
