: Well, I just went to visit a friend of mine who's working in New York City this past weekend and of course I brought along my Raider's Wested. Unfortunately, I did not have the foresight to bring another coat and had to wear it in the pouring rain as I walked around NYC for the day. This made me really anxious, but I have to say it didn't seem to phase the jacket much at all. The leather is still just as soft as when I got it. I did notice some very light wrinkling on the bottom of the jacket, but all in all it made it out fine. Just to be safe, I have it a generous coating of Lexol when I got home Sunday. ( Wouldn't you know, pouring on Sat, and only a little cloudy for the drive home!!! ARGHHH!! ) But I'm quite surprised and pleased with how the leather reacted. Just thought I'd share...for all those who doubt, Indy or not, a Wested RULES!

The lambskin seems to completely shed the Seattle rain. It does not seem to penetrate at all.
Cheers!
