Anyone ever succesfully get a shirt from Andre Dometakis?

I remember in the early days of my collecting before MBA came to the
rescue there was a rumour that Dometakis would do a shirt but it would
have a turnaround time of about a year or something ludicris like that.
Id be very interested in hearing if anyone ever got one or tried to
get one.,
