I finally got to shoot my Webley. It is accurate and very easy to load. I had a 1911A1, a 1991 Colt Compact, and my Webley with me and shot all three for comparison. The Webley was just as accurate as the other two, and just as easy to load. I had pre-loaded a number of full-moon clips, and they drop in the cylinder easier than with a speedloader. And after all the pre-loaded ammo (in mags for the 1911 and clips for the Webley) was shot up, it was much easier to load the Webley with .45 Autorim than the magazines with .45 ACP. The only disadvantage to the Webley is the sights. They are hard to see indoors and at night. And another observation, any of the three guns in .45 ammo recoiled much less that a Walther in .380 or a SMC918 in Makarov. The Walther holds 7 rounds(in .32 Auto) and the Colt Compact holds 7 rounds (in .45 ACP), so which had you rather have if you were, say, a British secret agent? I guess that's why I am not a British secret agent (among other reasons).
