Hey, Shaggy. I agree 100%! Those Martin Caiden novels were possibly the worst non-Dickens books I've ever read. Occasionally, someone around here sticks up for the old guy, but he was a talent-less hack compared to McGregor and McCoy. I vividly recall shouting at the characters in Sky Pirates "Get on with the story you slack-jawed neanderthals!" It was like a cross between Kafka and Norman Mailer novel! It went no where! It was like a back road in Idaho! I want the week I spent reading it back! I'm sorry... I get a little emotional. Were the people at Bantam drunk when they chose Caiden to write Indy novels, or were they simply suffering from mercury poisoning?

: Rob McGregor was definately the best writer in the series. Then McCoy. The rest of them sucked, and sucked hard. That one about air pirates was the worst. Absolutely. Definately. The worst.

: I can not fully communicate my anger at those novels. It's... just... steam coming out my ears... and... BLOOOOOOOD.

: One book completely shrugs off the events of another book, while another book delves into the back story of another book. And they wasted 2 years of Indy's life which were perfectly good enough to have an adventure in the Other world.

: AND WHY THE HELL WOULD INDIANA JONES LOOK FOR A UNICORN HORN? AAAGH!

: 3/4s of the series are complete bastards, really, I hate them. I'll stick to the comics, games and movies, and whatever Indy media was actually GOOD.
